Saving the planet

I like that these but the "cotton tops" are small.

Better than Q-tips

Not perfect, but better than Q-tips. The bamboo sticks snap sometimes, but the cotton stays intact on the end of the stick during use better than some other brands.

Like the bamboo but they're hard

These are okay, maybe better for makeup uses than what we all really use them for (ears). They're a little harder and less absorbent than qtip brand.

Nice and sturdy!

Finally, cotton swabs that are sturd like back in the day! I have tried so many brands of cotton swabs and they're all super flimsy, including other wooden ones. They snap easily and also bend with the slightest pressure. Even the name brand cotton swabs are weak these days. But these feel like how I remember cotton swabs growing up! I can actually clean things with pressure as well as my ears (with much gentler pressure) better because it's easier to direct the end of the swab precisely. THANK THE GOOD LORD. I had no idea how much I missed the tougher swabs of yesteryear, but these reminded me of why I was so angry about 10-15 years ago when all the cotton swab manufacturers got together and decided to make their sticks bendable to save money!Now, these still don't have the nice, fluffy cotton tops like the old ones used to, but I'd rather this than a flimsy swab!
